If you are currently outside Japan, please use the following method or apply online after entering Japan.

＜How to obtain a translation before entering Japan＞

• 1.Using an proxy application

  If you have an acquaintance in Japan, that person can act as your agent and apply for translation before your entry into Japan.

• 2.Using an agency

  If you search online, you may find travel agencies or similar businesses that offer agent application services.

• 3.Others

  Japanese translation documents may also be issued by the issuing authority of your driver's license or the embassy/consulate of your country in Japan. For instance, in the case of Germany, you can obtain Japanese translations through ADAC.

*Please note that the translation documents are only valid in paper form. Copies, PDFs, or photos are invalid.
*For privacy protection reasons, translation requests via email are not accepted.
